1. City of Dead

In the village of Dargavs, Russia there is a necropolis called the “City of Dead”. This horrible place has 99 different tombs and crypts. Locals believe that the the place was created around the 12th century. The myths say that anyone who tries to enter the necropolis dies. Many tourists go to visit the place. but the locals always warn them about the stories connected with the City of Dead.

2. Catacombe dei Cappuccini

In my opinion “Catacombe dei Cappuccini” is the creepiest place in the world. From all the places that I had been to, this one is the scariest one. Nowadays the place is open for tourists. You can see around 9000 mummified bodies that are hanging on the walls. The bodies are just everywhere! On top of all that, the biggest “attraction” is the body of a 2 year old girl called Rosalia Lombardo. People say that the girl died in 1920, but suprisingly the body is amazingly preserved and it looks … alive.

3. Hill of Crosses

According to the Vactican City and the pope, the Hill of Crosses is a holy place that is full with power and hope. According to many tourists tha place is really weird and creepy. Locals say that there are more than 100 000 crosses on this hill. Nobody has an idea what was the original idea of this place. Judge for yourself if you like the place.

Another “interesting” place in the Czech Republic is the Roman Catholic Chapel of Sedlec. The insides of the chapel are extremely weird. The place is home of the remains of more than 40 000 people. Locals call the place the Chapel of the Bones.

There are thousands of gravestones around the cemetery. If you are a fan of creepy experiences, visit this place.
