The castle was made by Charles MacDougal who was a renowned architect and he made the structure in such a way that it resembled the perfect castle and gave the onlookers a lot to be happy about. The castle has been so named because Sam Mazza had bought the house and he did so after the house was seen showing signs of decay.  It was Sam who decorated and renovated it and made the castle stand out.
 
Sam owned the castle but he never lived there but rather used it for parties. After his death, the castle is today run by Sam Mazza foundation and tourists can enter here and enjoy their time.
