Ston Saltworks are the oldest saltworks in the Europe and the most preserved one in the whole history of a Mediterranean. This saltwork originates from the 14th century and is still in use. The Saltwork is divided into 9 pools; each pool can produce more than 59 tons of salt. In the middle ages, this is the exact way of how salt was produced. The former president of Yugoslavia, Josip Broz Tito, built himself secret tunnels as a protection of air attacks from the former USSR. These bunkers were built in the 1950s inside of a Velebit mountain. After a war, bunkers were arranged and opened to the public. Now, there are more than 1000 squares of corridors that need to be explored. Besides that, you can enter the main Tito’s room, which is known as the safest room beneath the surface.

7. Pet and milk a donkey
