Zaton Beach

The beach in Zaton is located within a touristic area within the property of Turishotel, which is 16 kilometers away from the center of Zadar in the direction of Nin. If you are a guest of the settlement, then you will have a free of charge access to the beach. All other external visitors must pay a fee.

This beach has been for many years a carrier of the blue Flag, which means a high standard of clean sea, security and quality of the beach itself. The beach is sandy, and located within a lagoon. There is also a very nice walking trail with showers. The beach is approximately 30 meters wide, which gives the youngest visitors and their parents a wide variety of options for having fun on the sand.

The sea is shallow and people who are not swimmers can enjoy it. One part of the beach is suitable for visitor with handicap. The beach is one of the rare ones that have one part specially organized for pets.

You can rent deck chairs, parasols and scooters. Those who are brave can see how Zaton looks like from the air if they rent a parachute. The guests of the settlement can relax in the swimming pool nearby. Along the beach there is a whole complex of restaurants, bars, pizza huts, grill-restaurants, souvenir shops, cosmetic parlors, pharmacies and more.
